The keyless chuck is great for quick and easy bit changes. Added comfort can be found with the contoured finger grip and rubber overmold handel. This will also help is giving you added control while using the drill. The drill has a 2 speed switch with forward/reverse - Low for control when screwdriving; High for drilling. 0n-board bit tip holders are an easy way to hold bits on the drill so they are easy to get to when it is time to switch bit tips.

The best 7.2V drill ever
This is the final evolution of B&D's 7.2V series of Versapak drills. Like all the other power tool mfgrs, they moved on to higher voltage products with heavier and more expensive rechargeable batteries. The Versapak batteries are light weight, last several years, and fit in many other power tools and B&D appliances.
For most DIY projects and for general use around the house, this is a great drill. The charge lasts long enough for most jobs - how often does the average guy drive deck screws all day long? If I need more power, I get out my corded drill.
The light is nice for my fading eyesight.
The power indicator is a handy feature, too.
If you're a Versapak fan, like I am, you'll like this drill!
